Hey. How’s it going?

If you’ve made it to this part of my website, congratulations. You’re either in the industry and like what you see so for, or you’re a member of my extended family. If you’re the latter, you can stop reading. We’ll catch up at the next family wedding. If you’re the former, here’s a little bit about me.

Over the years I’ve had the good fortune to work with some great people and produce work I’m proud of in a career I truly love. Of course, I would say I love what I do on my website, but it really is true. Sure, some days are tougher than others, but even on those days, there is no other job I’d rather be doing.

I love the challenge of taking a conservative client and getting them to buy great creative work. I love the excitement of a new business pitch. (especially when we win) I love coming up with ideas that solve problems in unexpected ways. I also love to write. Yes, I’m an art director, but I do a lot of writing too. And I love being a creative director. I love helping a young team take an idea from good to great.

I also love my family. When I’m not working, odds are good I’m with my wife, Stephanie, and our two kids, Olivia and Flynn. Stephanie is awesome. She’s an amazing mom and has a pretty successful advertising career of her own. My daughter, Olivia, is eight and is big time into art, comics and crafts. We go through a lot of construction paper and tape in my house. Like, a lot of tape. And my son, Flynn, is four and loves playing with Lego, being silly and trying to make you laugh. I’d say he’s just like me, but he’s funnier than I am.
